    This international course of study, conducted in English, is Thailand’s premiere doctorate program in the field. At Payap University’s International College, we envision a world of open minds and hearts which choose peace over war. The PhD. program in Peacebuilding is committed to empowering inspired visionaries across a wide spectrum of professions and cultural backgrounds to develop leading edge concepts in the important and burgeoning field of conflict transformation. The program of study is designed for both academic or scholarly endeavors as well as practice-based Peace Studies.

We work with sensitivity to cultural differences and emphasize the links between research, education, and practice.

    The Purdue Peace Project (PPP) is a university-based political violence prevention initiative that does peacebuilding work in areas threatened by such violence and conducts research to advance knowledge about political violence prevention at the local, community level.

    The PPP convenes everyday citizens to help them address immediate threats of violence in their communities. We continually monitor and evaluate our projects to maximize our impact. Then, we share our experience and effective practices with practitioners and scholars around the world.
