Doctor of Philosophy in Peacebuilding

This international course of study, conducted in English, is Thailand’s premiere doctorate program in the field. At Payap University’s International College, we envision a world of open minds and hearts which choose peace over war. The PhD. program in Peacebuilding is committed to empowering inspired visionaries across a wide spectrum of professions and cultural backgrounds to develop leading edge concepts in the important and burgeoning field of conflict transformation. The program of study is designed for both academic or scholarly endeavors as well as practice-based Peace Studies.

Educational programs are the beating heart of the Kroc Institute. We equip scholar-practitioners at the undergraduate and graduate level to be leaders in peace and justice scholarship and practice all over the world.

MD-ICCCR is an innovative Science-Practice Center committed to developing knowledge and practice to promote constructive conflict resolution, effective cooperation and social justice. We partner with groups, organizations and communities who wish to learn constructive conflict strategies so that they may develop just and peaceful relationships. We work with sensitivity to cultural differences and emphasize the links between research, education, and practice.

The Purdue Peace Project (PPP) is a university-based political violence prevention initiative that does peacebuilding work in areas threatened by such violence and conducts research to advance knowledge about political violence prevention at the local, community level.

The PPP convenes everyday citizens to help them address immediate threats of violence in their communities. We continually monitor and evaluate our projects to maximize our impact. Then, we share our experience and effective practices with practitioners and scholars around the world.
