Rights for the Young: A Resource Book for Teaching Children's Rights to Adults and Children

Rights for the Young consists of two sets of modules that Children's Rights advocates could use in conducting capacity-building activities in the grassroots.

The first part consists of modules that could be used in capacitating adults, community leaders and other duty-bearers on Child Rights Programming and the Child-Centered Approach. The second set of modules aims to capacitate children in rights-claiming initiatives using creative arts. Basic Children's Rights concepts are learned via the medium of visual, literary, dramatic arts. Both modules are geared towards the formulation of a Children's Agenda that provides venues for full and meaningful participation of all community stakeholders, especially children.
