Peacebuilding Practice: A textbook for practitioners

The purpose of this book is to offer a brief overview of concepts of peacebuilding while introducing teachers and learners to the various tools and types of interventions utilized in the field that are culturally responsive to the Southeast Asia context and demonstrate the complex nature of peacebuilding. It is meant to co-create spaces that support meaningful and challenging dialogue, as well as hopeful and transformational spaces. We intend to create a neutral space where we all can be learners and teachers simultaneously, no matter our differences. We hope that you take this guide as a tool to push beyond the confines of your classroom, to make nonviolence and peacebuilding personal so that you can be the change you wish to see in yourself, your home, your community, and your country (Chapter 1, Pg 3).
