This Little Source Book may mean a lot for people who are not familiar with North Cotabato including Kidapawan City, the PPALMA Alliance which comprises the municipalities of Pixit, Pigkawayan, Alamada, Libungan, Midsayap and Aleosan. Cotabato City was also included because of its historical and stratêgic significance considering the presence of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and people's organizations (POs). This Little Source Book is intended to familiarize newcomers with basic facts and figures of the above-mentioned places. This is an initial attempt to feature key organizations and institutions in both government and private sectors in the fields of social welfare, social development and peace building, It is a work in progress as such the listing is not complete. if ever it gets positive feedback and given possible future publication opportunities, the listing will be expanded and improved.
