Tale of Tabunaway and Mamalu, The

The folkloric tradition of the Teduray and the Maguindanao peoples of what used to be empire province of Cotabato indicate that they have a common origin, particularly described in the tale of Tabunaway and Mamalu, the brothers who later went on their separate destinies when one decided to embrace Islam and the other chose to hold on their ancient spiritual tradition.
